I know my current Cpu might bottle neck newer cards, but I am buying this card to use with newer builds when ever I build them.

Cards I am Looking At:

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 8GB GDDR5, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphics Card 08G-P4-6276-KR

EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 06G-P4-6163-KR, 6GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC), Only 6.8 Inches

Solution
My thought is that you have sufficient cpu to support a stronger graphics card.

I would buy the EVGA GTX1060 card. It is a significant jump over your GTX750ti.
Take the time to register the card.
That will make you eligible for the 90 day step up program in case the GTX1070 looks better:

When you get the GTX1060, you might conduct the test again to see how much a even stronger card might fare.
Is this a trick question?
Yes, a GTX1070 is faster than a GTX1060.

But, my take is that a GTX1060 is a lot less expensive and will run most any game very well at 1080P
Your limiting factor is likely to be your cpu.
I would put the savings toward an eventual cpu upgrade.

One thing you can test would be to
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

I used Ark survival evolved to test this as this is my most intensive game right now: When I turned shadows and textures off my fps increased 6 to 10 frames, I was getting around 30 and when turned it down it jumped to 36 to 40. Furthermore when I turned every setting to low (World tile buffers, view distance, anti aliasing, post processing, shadows, and textures) my fps Jumped to roughly 45 when moving and a steady 52 fps when standing still. What are your thoughts on this?
