Hello everyone!
I'm trying to help out a friend but I'm not sure what his problem is.
He currently has his main, tower, gaming PC that connections to the Internet via a bridged connection from his laptop.
So, in other words:
His laptop and main PC are connected via an Ethernet cable. The laptop is the HOST of the bridged connection. The main PC receives the connection from the laptop.
The problem:
From what he has told me, he's been having problems since he came back from a week long vacation. He told me that whenever he leaves his PC, then comes back to it in a few hours, the bridged connection is no longer working and that he has to fiddle with settings for a few minutes just to get it working again.
Is there any potential solutions so that he longer has this problem and the bridged connection works permanently?
