Would there be any advantages of using my old 2GB GEFORCE GT610 (pcie v.2.0) on my new motherboard (ASUS Z170-A ATX)? Or should I just use the onboard graphics on the ASUS board? I only play computer games from the 1990's (obviously not a big use of video memory), use Microsoft Office, DreamWeaver (current version), and typically have a dozen browser tabs open. I also use BOINC to run Seti@Home. I also SKYPE or use GO-TO-MEETING for video conferencing. I also digitize videos (VHS or DVD) for a non profit.
I have 32GB of RAM on this board and an I5-6600k processor. (I only build/buy a new computer every 10 years...so I over build when I first get a new computer and by the 10th year it starts struggling.)
