I have a Compaq ProLiant ML350 Gen1, and am attempting to install Windows Vista/7, and because this system runs on a SCSI raid array, windows need a device driver for the card that runs the raid array. Now, i have a driver installer from HP (compaq's sister company at the time) but i do not know how to install it on the interface, or what windows needs to install it. I specifically need a file type. (i have made a previous post about a driver specifically). I am also making a post on this under the WIndows 7 forum so that people there will also see, but i would prefer you respond to this post.

Solution
You want the txtsetup.oem driver to install so the OS can see the SCSI controller. This should be in a zip file around 500kb in size (fits on a floppy).

You should be able to find the very small driver package that will allow you identify the controller, put it on a USB drive and install it when windows 7 setup can't find any hard drives.
