Never gave that any thought, sorry. Have OCed a few sets of TriZs and never even come close to needing additional cooling (fan) let alone water cooling.

Admittedly this is just a observation from ddr3 but the heat spreaders are typically actually glued to the chips on the sticks. I have seen a few horror stories if people ripping them out trying to remove it. Is there a particular reason you plan to water block them? Ive never seen anyone have a thermal issue with ram that wasn't going for a world record with ln2
