Should I upgrade my power supply for this system?

My CPU: AMD A8 6600k APU
My GPU: Asus GTX 950 Strix
(I think those are the two main power eaters, if you need any more info about different parts, tell me)
My PSU: Corsair VS350

I'm asking because my power supply gets really loud when playing games and my friend is offering me a 750 watt power supply for £25.

Thanks.

I would definitely upgrade, but be careful. A power supply is not something you want to cheap out on so make sure that whatever you are getting is high quality and well reviewed. Remember, if you use a cheaper quality PSU, you run the risk of destroying every single component in the computer.

Recently in my media server, a cheaper PSU that I was given by a friend shorted out and fried 5 out of 8 of the hard drives in my system. I'm talking bloated capacitors and scorch marks. From now on I will make sure that the PSU is the one piece that I am willing to fork over some extra cash for peace of mind that other parts won't get damaged should anything happen as most quality PSUs have protections against what happened to me. Not to mention...

Not to mention the cost of the replacement drives was 2-3x that of the PSU that I should have gotten the first time.

To find out how much power you need take a look at this tool from NewEgg: http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/index.html?name=Power-Supply-Wattage-Calculator

It isn't as in depth as some of the other tools out there but it does the job well.
