What motherboard fits my pc?

Hey guys im wondering what motherboard is good for this pc http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04351363. Envy Pheonix 810-201no. Im getting Corsair Obsidian 750D to go with the motherboard so keep that in mind. Thank you.

i think any standard micro-ATX motherboard will fit in the HP case

HP cases usually use a proprietary screw layout... You usually cannot mount any "standard" aftermarket motherboards without drilling holes to mount new standoffs in the case.

as far i can see, the MS-7826 motherboard actually is the same mounting as an micro-atx
think HP is turning standard in some models

Either way... OP wants the Corsair Obsidian 750D which is a full size ATX tower. So there's no point in putting in a mATX motherboard, it would look wrong with all the space that would be left over.

Why would he want a new case if he didn't plan on using it?

maybe he want a motherboard upgrade on the HP, and a motherboard for the obsidian case.
no way a micro-atx motherboard will look good on that case, unless a gold motherboard

It is correct, but only in certain conditions. It really only makes a difference in the more power hungry CPUs that produce a lot of heat.

More powerful CPUs need better power delivery systems on the motherboard.

A 4790 is not a very power hungry CPU and will do fine on any decent quality motherboard.
