Hello,
I built my PC 2 years ago and it's never failed me until now. The concerned components are :
Asus Z87-a motherboard
Intel i5 4570k
Be quiet! Pure Power L8 730W
Crucial Ballistix 4GB (x2)
When I power the system on, the DRAM, CPU and VGA LEDs start to blink one after another. The pattern usually loops and the system doesn't POST, however it sometimes managed to boot succesfully after I did several reboots.
I tried disconnecting all the components and keeping only the MB, the CPU, the RAM and the PSU, but the problem was still the same. I tried every combination for the RAM sticks and cleared the CMOS, then applied default parameters, but it didn't change anything either
I made a gif showing what it looks like.
The length of the flashes varies sometimes, and you can find the disposition of the leds here.
What can I do to solve this problem ? I don't think that it's a hardware issue, as the system does POST occasionally...
