Now, I have seen dozens of highly qualified experts here and i am upgrading from my ps3 to a gaming pc, Therefore as this is my first build, I couldn't understand all the compatibility issues and stuff, So i will finally ask you all to tell me about any compatibility issues that i might encounter with the following specs :

1. Intel core i5 2400 Used
2. Asus H61M-K Lga 1155 ddr3, ( It says its some PCIe 3.0 ready but that 3.0 only supports 3rd gen processors, Will i5 2400 work with it??)
3. Corsair vengence 8gb ram ddr3 Pc 1333 ( What does the pc 1333 mean??) New
4. Cool master 500W PSU New
5. 320 gb HDD New
6. Sapphire Radeon r9 270 oc Ddr5 ( would it fit in the motherboard ddr3?? And, is it pcie 3.0 or pcie 2.0 and if it is pcie 3.0 would it work on my i5 2400???)
7. Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit
8. Casing and Optical drive any probably, new!

Phew! I know thats a lot of questions but what better than to ask the experts without any shame. :)

Hey Danger! First of all, welcome to pc gaming! :p it's a much more exciting way to personalize and increase your gaming experience... at least I found that to be the case!

Now, as far as I know, your motherboard does support PCIe 3.0 but the i5 2400 can only support PCIe 2.0 speeds. In essence, Id say upgrade to a bit of a newer processor line... something along the 3000 series will do for your setup (even this is considered old, however) .
As for your question on the RAM. The 1333 is essentially the frequency or speed of your memory measured in megahertz. For gaming, id recommend 1600Mhz minimum but thats just my opinion, others may differ.

The next thing to look at is your graphics card and power requirements. I think a 500w...

Will the pc 1333 ram fit in it?

Yes. 8Gb per stick is teh max. Don't try 16 GB sticks. If you want to make really sure(ram can be finicky) go here and select 8Gb from total caapacity, and get one of the sticks recommended by crucial: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/ASUS/h61m-k

The next thing to look at is your graphics card and power requirements. I think a 500w power supply should be fine, just be 100% sure that it has the right connections to connect to your GPU as with the r9 270 I believe it will need a 6 pin power connection. Because of the i5 2400, the card will only run at PCIe 2.0 although it is capable of PCIe 3.0.
Unless theres anything else I haven't thought of, I think you'd be sorted with that.

Just a word of caution if you don't have experience building before, I'd really read up a guide and ask as many questions as possible. You want to make sure you get it right. It's not hard at all but you can make silly mistakes. Other than that, let me know if you have any more questions!!

Brother, thanks for the help and yeah i am not building the pc myself, I will arrange the parts and then ask some computer expert to build it and to be sure about the connections and compatibility. :)
