Hey guys, I could really use some advice with picking a GPU. I am building a PC to be used for streaming console gameplay with the use of a capture card. It will be used for little to no PC gaming. Trying to keep this build on a tight budget.

Up until yesterday I was perfectly happy including the GTX 750 TI SC in my build at an awesome price of $80. Overnight the part I was settled on shot up to $120. So now I am considering other options. If anyone can lend me any advice here it would be more than appreciated. I will link some of the options I am now considering.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 950 OC Edition/Total price: $120

ASUS GeForce GTX 950 STRIX/Total price: $130

EVGA GeForce GTX 950 SC/Total price: $130

ASUS GTX 750 TI Strix/Total price: $100

I am also open to any comparable Radeon cards for the right price.

Here is a link to my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q7xmkT

If anyone would be kind enough to take the time to help me with this decision I will appreciate it greatly.

Thanks :)

UPDATE: It seems as though some of the above posted links to the GPUs have an issue. Working to fix them. For anyone who reads this post before that time, I have listed the models and prices above each link.

UPDATE: It looks like the possible disfunction of the links may be to do with something on neweggs end.

Well if you're streaming console to PC the main workload is createcd by video processing and rendering and therefore will fall onto your CPU. if you truly wish to do no gaming on the PC and only want to stream console games to your pc, invest in a higher end CPU and leave the video rendering of the PC itself to an integrated graphics card. Those are my two cents.

I currently am planning on including an i7-6700k in my build. I'm honestly not a PC expert, but from what I understand that should be a pretty decent CPU. Thank you for your input though. I've always had a vague understanding that the CPU would be more important in my situation, but it was nice to see the details spelled out.

Maybe something like this...?

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 460 WINDFORCE OC 4GB/Total price: $130

For what you're using this for, and/or for the titles that this card would be good at (eSports is what it's geared towards), it is probably not necessary to go with the 4Gb models......2 would be sufficient. That said, 4Gb certainly doesn't hurt, and if you did CrossFire another card with this one in the future for a better 1080p gamer, then it would be quite handy.

The 4GB version was only approximately $10 more than the 2GB. Seems like pretty good value. Let me state again though, I am not a PC expert. Any thoughts?

That is good thinking about the crossfire. The mobo I am settled on supports crossfire, but not SLI.

Can you or anyone confirm that this card does support crossfire? I have been mistaken in the past over the the SLI capabilities of a certain GTX card.
