As you can probably tell from the title I don't know much about GPUs. So if anybody could help me understand what these things are/mean, it would be highly appreciated - Core clock, boost clock, CUDA core(s) and OC mode. I'm thinking of buying a factory overclocked gpu , but in the description it says : "1873 MHz GPU boost clock in OC mode for outstanding gaming experience". Does it mean that I have to do something in the bios or get a program of some sorts to enable the "OC mode" ?

The clock speed is basically how fast it can handle the instructions being sent to it. This being said its easy to see that higher the clock speed, the better it will perform. it is also worth noting that games, as you can imagine, send a lot of instructions/second which is why it is important for them to have so high clock speeds. this is the same for RAM, the CPU and GPU. "OC" or "Over Clocking" is just simply running the component at a higher clock speed than intended, this does not mean it is as bad thing however. The only thing you should worry about one overclocking is that it uses More power and produces more heat. which can be a bad thing but if you care for your components with sufficient cooling so they dont go faulty. most GPU's have built in tools which allow you to easily Overclock if not you can find guides online. Hope this helps.
