Hi guys, i currently run this pc :

cpu : Intel Core i5 3330 @ 3.00GHz
mobo : ASRock H61M-DGS R2.0
ram : 8.00GB DDR3 @ 532MHz
gpu : Palit 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 730

I want to upgrade my vga to a gtx 970 ! will my cpu be a bottleneck to the gtx 970 ?
Will there be an improvement ? Do you think ill be able to run games like Witcher 3 or Just Cause 3 and GTA V in medium settings ?

Update : Im planning to play at 1080p and my psu is a 650w , model DR-8600BTX

Solution
Massive improvement!!
Yes, you can easily run the GTX 970 with your system. No bottleneck. Not familiar with that PSU, but it has the necessary specs for the GTX 970 and the i5-3330

Okay thanks i think ill either buy gtx 970 or 960, something else, my ram is currently as stated above, 2x4gb @ 532 mhz DDR3, would replacing it with 2x8 GB HyperX Fury Red 16GB DDR3-1600MHz (HX316C10FRK2/16) do any good ? sorry for the noob questions i guess, but i plan to build a new pc in a couple of years so i dont want to invest a lot of money in this one. Just some important upgrades so i can play games for the next 1-2 years.

P.S. What about a RX 460 instead of the 970, still no bottleneck and same massive improvement ? The rx is away more economic .

Ok thank you very much for your help, ill upgrade to the GTX 970 hopping it will last for little more than a year playing new game titles on good fps. And then build a new rig hopefully !

At 1080p/60 Hz, you will be able to play any game at max/near max settings.
