Msi Gaming 5 Z97 Ram Support Help!

i have a msi gaming 5 mobo and was curious if it can support a 16gb stick of ram since there is a pack of 2x16 ram on sale the frequnecy is 1600 so thats fine plz help me!

Might want to check the board out, most all 16GB sticks I've seen in DDR3 are ECC and believe the mobo only supports Non-ECC. Also specs for 1150 Z97 mobos call for 32GB max which indicates 4x8GB configs

No, sorry. I wouldn't even invest any money in DDR3 16GB sticks to try, and you can see in my sig, I tend to load up on memory in my rigs, even the AMD

4x4GB will work or better yet 2x8GB - 2 sticks is less stress on the MC (memory controller) than 4
