Will I need a new PSU?

Hi there,

Today while vacuuming my study, the nozzle of my vacuum grazed the side of my tower. To my surprise, my PC instantaneously turned off. It won't turn back on, even after trying new cables and reseating everything inside the tower (except for the mobo, for obvious reasons). I've had a PSU short before on a different rig years ago, and it doesn't appear that any of those telltale signs are there this time. My CPU an hour earlier when I started cleaning was sitting at a reasonable 60 celsius, and the other items such as monitors and speakers are powered, so I doubt its due to a lack of power. After testing it elsewhere in the house, I fear the problem lies within my pc. With nothing else I can think of, I likely have no choice but to replace my PSU. But how can I definitely check that my PSU is the issue, and if it needs replacement at all? Any other suggestions on getting it to start would be greatly appreciated too.
