I hope this is the right place to post this issue.

My computer worked fine before but after travelling with it to a new place, it can no longer run any games.

It seems to run fine with everything, loading times on internet are fast and I can watch youtube and use programs such as photoshop and sony vegas without problems. But for some reson playing games is horrendous, just a lot of stuttering and I can't move around properly.

I should also mention that everything gets slow on the computer while a game is running. This should be a hardware problem (caused by moving the computer).

Unfortunately I can't seem to find the problem, I will list what I have done.

*Updated graphic card drivers

*Memory Diagnostics Tool - No issues

*CrystalDisk and HD Tune - No issues

*Resource & Performance Monitor - 1 issue

The issue that performance monitor complained about was a missing driver for "Intel Smart Connect Technology" which shouldn't matter at all.

Specs

*Intel Core i5-4690k 3.5ghz

*GeForce GTX 760

*Samsung SSD 840 EVO

*Old Seagate HDD

*8GB RAM

I first thought that it might be my HDD that was the problem because all of my games are on it. But after starting the same game on the SSD I still had the same problem.

I should maybe add that I tried playing Overwatch and WoW and changing the setting to low didn't matter. I have played witcher 3 on this computer without problems before.

Solution
Well first I would test switching the GPU. See if you get the same issues with his GPU. That will determine if this is a GPU issue. Next thing I would do is put his GPU back into his rig and plug in your HDD and run a game. on his computer. Meanwhile try to run another game on your rig. Seeing if the HDD is the cause.

Update, I removed the GPU and then inserted it back. Now I have less stuttering, from every second to every 10th. Still not acceptable but much better, I guess this confirms that this is a GPU or PCI problem.

after the post I made 19th of august I changed PCI slot for the GPU and the problem persist. I don't know if it still can be a motherboard problem, but both PCI slots gives the same problem (the new one I tested was never used before).
