Hey guy . So i have an fx 8370 currently clocked at 4.6 ghz on a msi 990 fxa gaming mobo. Volage + .13. im not sur what the board can take ma temps are staying between 45-55 c im really sure i can get to 4.7 ghz which was my goal. I also have a CX750M psu corsair b+. Do you guys know what this board can handlein terms of voltage. also on prime 95 for over 3 hours my most successful yet attempt. Also i go have a gtx 970. if that varries for anything on my psu

Seeing as you're already at +.13V, I wouldn't go much higher because I worry about the motherboard VRMs overheating. If that happens, they may deliver unstable power and slowly damage the CPU over time.

Assuming it's even stable, going from 4600MHz to 4700MHz will yield less than a 2% performance increase.

ok Thanks bud well honestly hose temps were with prime im never going to really hit this as my computer never rlly hits 60% load so i still think is hould be fine
like normally im aroudn 34c I just forgot to mention the reason i had those temps was in fact because i was running prime95. so i am sure that makes a world of difference

hehe ok ill keep it at 4.6. but i know the stable for 4.5 and that is at +1.1 . so that wont be as harsh i might just go to 4.5 to be on the safe side anyways. I appreciate all your info and ill deffiantly take it all into consideration. ill keep you posted
