How do I go about painting my drive bays?

Backstory:
My case is a Sharkoon BD28 and I got the green variant because I couldn't find anywhere to buy the blue variant. So I've recently replaced the stock green LED fans with quieter and more efficient blue LED fans. The inside green paint job is mostly hidden by the motherboard so I'm not worried about it, but the back drive bays are a bright green so I thought I would paint them dark blue. So how do I go about doing this? Are there some spray paints I should avoid getting for whatever reasons? Can you recommend any paints? Any tips or guides on the actual process? Any precautions I should take or extra safety equipment I should get?
Sorry if I sound dumb, I'm totally new to painting of any sort. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I recommend going with plastidip. you can always just pull all the paint off with your fingers if something goes wrong and it is pretty straightforward.

there are tons of videos on youtube of how to paint things with plastidip, from GPUs all the way to cars...

give it a try!
