Will my CPU fan size affect my PC temps?

Hi guys, I am new to PC modification and just recently installed my new Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler. After installing it I noticed the cpu fan is bigger than my case fan. Will this greatly affect the proper airflow and CPU/PC temperature?

As long as the CPU cooler blows to the rear.. same direction the case fan blows, airflow and cooling efficiency should be optimal.
