hello i got a refurbished hard drive this is the hard drive https://www.etb-tech.com/netapp-1tb-sata-3-5-hard-drive-x269a-r5-in-tray.html?gclid=CjwKEAjw26C9BRCOrKeYgJH17kcSJACb-HNAy31Vf11eQLrMnNyTdutAnioQ0nMQ_VYZLYRbbYzASBoCflHw_wcB#.V7Y3R00rLcd but for some reason when i plug it in to the motherboard it will give me a system information hardware screen i cant print screen for it wish i could show you when i try to load up my computer it does not let me its just stuck on this hardware information screen for some reason all three of my hard drives show up in the bios i unplug it my computer loads fine i know its not recommended but after my computer loads up i then plug the sata cable back in to the hard drive there is nothing in disk management to display that there is a new hard drive i know its working as its in the bios and also it loads up a hardware information screen if there is anything i have missed let me know and ill try and find out

There could be something wrong with it.
My suggestion would be to grab a SATA to USB adapter + a power cord in order to attach the drive externally, once the system has booted. After that, you can just test it with some of these: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
