Upgrading from a Radeon 6870. Think I am settling for a GTX 1060. Have a few very important questions...

Debated and researched the GTX 1060 and RX 480. They both seem neck and neck, but ultimately I chose the 1060 due to it being better with DX11 games, more efficient, there is one available for $260 locally, and the fact that it should still perform well with DX12.

I really just plan on playing 1080p games on ultra.

Questions:
1) What do you all think about this one?... This is the $260 one I was talking about. The build doesn't look great, but I am inexperienced and it probably doesn't matter since it will be in my pc case for 5 years. Or should I wait for something else? (may be awhile)

2) Will it be compatible with the follow... I am really cautious on whether it will work with my mobo and power supply (not sure if it has the connection I need to power the gpu).

MOBO: asrock z77 extreme4

POWER SUPPLY: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EYV690/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

CPU: i5 3570k

Would really appreciate the help!

Solution
Hi logan832!
1.) MSI is a very reputable company with great costumer support. I personally prefer EVGA, but their 1060's are more expensive. I don't have it, but a computer part retailer doesn't build a reputation like MSIs on bad build qualities. The 1060 is a great $300 card, and it will beat the 480 on all fronts when Nvidida releases their DirectX 12 drivers.
2.) Your motherboard has a PICE x16 slot, so it'll fit (and work).
As for your power supply, if you don't have too demanding other components or do some insane OCing, it should be fine.
Hope this helps!
