Radeon Rx-460 Driver constantly crashing and recovering

I recently changed my video card to the Rx-460 and got a new power supply for my system. I have installed all of the required drivers, but games crash and the driver resets when watching videos or even having multiple tabs open in a browser. The message that usually shows up is "Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has recovered." I'm using Windows 7.

While trying to fix the issue I also discovered that enabling "Power Efficiency" in Radeon Settings automatically crashes the program. Just having Radeon Settings open makes the driver crash very often. I was wondering what steps I should take to identify the issue.

Solution
Install CCleaner or other similar utility, uninstall all video drivers, run CCleaner to remove leftovers, reboot and re-install drivers. If you are lucky, whatever leftovers from your previous GPU which may have been causing crashes are gone.

If you still get crashes after that, I'd try re-installing Windows on a spare HDD/SSD and see if that fixes it. If it does, then that confirms that there is a software problem in your old Windows 7 install. If the problems persist, then it could be issues with the GPU itself.

Is that basically the same thing that Display Driver Uninstaller does?

Thank you all for the suggestions. I uninstalled all traces of nVidia drivers that were on my system and reinstalled the AMD drivers. I seem to have way better performance now than before. However, I am still having the issue the driver constantly crashing with the message "Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has recovered.", even as I type this. Any games I attempt to play immediately crash to desktop without any error messages.
