Asus z170 pro motherboard vs Asus maximus VIII ranger!!

Hi Guys this is my first time building a PC!
The type of PC im building is both multi-tasking and gaming as im also a music editor and a gamer!
both the Asus z170 pro and the maximus Viii ranger are both around 550 price range as the asus z170 pro is 10$ more then maximus VIII ranger in my country.
the thing that caught my attention for the Asus z170 are its functions as it has more then the maximus, and a bit slight more better ( i guess).

im not so sure which motherboard i should go with please help?!

Either board can run from 2133 on up, 2400 would be fine, if thinking getting faster 3200 is about the sweet spot as far as price to performance (I use a lot of GSkill TridentZ and Ripjaws V sticks for my rig as well as client builds), going beyond that I generally can't justify the cost, for the gains achieved

The thing that is holding me back is the memory Frequency as the Pro has 3866+ Mhz while the ranger is 3466+ Mhz
I have a 16GB ddr4 2400MT/s ram.
