Hi,
I've got a HPTC that has been running successfully for about a year. Recently we had a power outage and now turning the PC on shows a message of:
"Power supply surges detected during the previous power on.
ASUS Anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!
NO Keyboard Detected!
Press F1 to Run SETUP"
I'd previously been using a Logitech K400r wireless keyboard, so I assumed it was related to the wireless keyboard, however attaching a Microsoft Wired 600 Desktop keyboard is still getting the same error message.
The other components are:
ASUS H87M-E uATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i3-4350T Haswell
Samsung 840 120G SSD
Other HDD Disconnected
Windows 10
Edit: The power supply is a Corsair CS450M.
I can't reset the Surge Protection as I can't get the computer to recognise any keyboard, so I can't access the BIOS. Is there any work around to reset the BIOS or Surge Protector without using a keyboard? Or to just get it to acknowledge the keyboard?
