That is not true. Your PC support graphics cards with PCI-E interfaces. And that has nothing to do with the GDDR3 or GDDR5 memory on the graphics cards. On the other hand, your motherboard only supports DDR2 memory, not DDR3 or DDR4 memory. Hope this clarify it better.

Hi I am back. It was late, and I went to bed. At 1080p, You could probably play it with 960 with medium graphics settings. The other two cards will do it with low graphics settings. Please pick this as the solution. Thank you.

Don't take this the wrong way, but your e5700 isn't good enough for these graphic cards, so you can't expect high frame rates. Even the 750Ti is more than your CPU can max out, so there is no point looking at getting anything better UNLESS you intend to upgrade your whole system in the near future.

If you would keep the budget within about $100 for upgrading only one part, I recommend to keep the system as you buy and install a GTX750Ti. After you have get a grip of how it performs, build another one with the latest Intel Core i7 6700k or 6600k processor and platform with a much powerful graphics card like GTX 1060 6GB, which is currently the very best graphics card that offers the best performance for each dollar you spend.

On a side note, AMD's Zen will be out soon. I would definitely consider to build a Zen system after seeing the reviews and prices at the end of this year or early next year. It's a very exciting time to build or upgrade a system of your own.

I am a biggest fan of assassin's creed series. Can I play assassin's creed unity, syndicate with ultra high settings or default settings without any lag at 1600x900 with 750 ti?
