Hello to any and all reading this.

In my rig I've currently got an MSI B150 Pcmate motherboard and I was wondering if I would be able to upgrade my ram from 2133 to 2400, I don't intend on buying RAM right now but I plan to and would like to know whether or not I'll be able to get beefier RAM whenever i do buy some new sticks.

Thank you very much and have a nice day. :)

Solution
Your motherboard doesnt support anything more than 2133Mhz, if you want to get faster memory, your going to need a Z170 board. If you consider changing your board, get a cheap Asrock Z170 and 3000Mhz memory, you will get better performance from faster memory and it doesn't cost so much more, also, the Asrock Z170 will allow you to overclock your processor.

Sorry if you got mixed up there I'm kinda new to pc building/upgrading, by processor support i meant whether or not my current one would work with the asrock board?
