so i upgraded to the new skylake i7 6700k, with 32Gb of corsair dominator platinum 3200MHz ddr4 RAM and EVGA FTW 1080.
multiple issues occurred.
to start with it wouldn't post at all, then i read some forum posts online about swapping the RAM around etc...
this PC will only post and go further with no GPUs in there. i tried the 1080 in all PCI lanes, i also tried my old 970 in all lanes.
i updated the BIOS to the latest one 1902 version i think.
i hope it's not a faulty motherboard because that''s a fair bit of work taking everything apart and doing an RMA etc.
anyway hopefully someone can let me know what to do..
