Normally only very high end Motherboards get waterblocks made for them, unless the manufacture makes and sells them on the board pre installed. They do make universal blocks but they are not very good for cooling a motherboard.

The water cooler's cpu mounting bracket needs to support the socket on the motherboard for the CPU.
Most all of them support all AMD or Intel socket for the last 5-6 years.
