i overclocked my fx 6300 to 4.2 ghz + 4.8 ghz turbo core with with 1.485 v
my specs
gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3(4+1phase,mofset on vrm)
corsair vs 450
gt 730

at idle it is 40 c at gaming it is 65-70 c at stress test it is max at 78 c
iam using stock cooler and my case is well ventilated,

how much power will it consume?
will it result in problems I will upgrading by 2018-19.

my ambient temp is around 35-40c

Solution
It's up to your motherboard's VRM section, not processor. Processor can safely handle up to 1,5v or more providing you have good cooler. If your MB can provide 125W of power and FX 6350 or higher is in compatibility list it should be good up to 4.4 - 4.5 GHz.

At 4.2 GHz it's just like FX 6350 staying at it's turbo frequency all the time and that's still up to 125W.
PROVIDING GOOD CPU AND CASE COOLING of course.

fx 6300 is a 95 watt processor is it safe for overclocking without increasing voltage?
