Graphics card for old processor

What graphics card can the e1 1500 work with, I'm fixing a old system and I don't want to use integrated graphics. I need something that gives me a fps increase. Even if it is only 2 frames. Any graphics card that is compatible I'll take.

Things I don't want:

"Dude, that CPU sucks." I know, that's why I need a graphics card for it.

"Don't waste your time." This is going to be a gift, so don't tell me what to do with my time.

"It's not worth it." It's worth it to me.

If you're not going to help with a solution DON'T COMMENT AT ALL.

I'm looking for helpful people to help me with this problem.

Just go to the this website and search for the driver manually rather than installing Geforce experience: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

As far as what GPU to get, I really have no idea what would be a worthwhile purchase and what would be a waste of money on that CPU. It's tough to say exactly how much it will bottleneck. Honestly I would pop your 650 Ti in it and run it through a benchmark and compare the performance of the e1-1500 with the same GPU in your primary rig. This will let us know how much it bottlenecks.

If it doesn't bottleneck it too much I think we might have a candidate for the $50 GT 730: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127830 otherwise if it just gets destroyed you'd be better off with a...

Are these proven to work, I got a gtx 650 ti and it didn't work

No, I don't believe I've seen anyone run an E1-1500 with a dedicated GPU. If the motherboard has a PCI-E slot I don't see why not. But these weren't ever really intended to be run with dedicated GPUs so it's possible there would be issues.

What was the problem you had with the 650 Ti?

The chip wasn't supported, it was too low a processor. I'm using it (650 ti) for my real gaming rig. I want to use the other motherboard processor for a htpc and light gaming. Like CSGO ,Minecraft, evolve and ECT.

In the GeForce experience it said games can't be optimised because a CPU above core 2 duo or AMD equivalent

After years of hunting I have finally found the golden driver link, you don't know how much this helps. Thanks!
