Hi everyone I'm just getting into pc gaming and I wanted to know what kind of video card would be compatible and good for gaming. Some of the games I play are csgo, left 4 dead and overwatch. However the graphics aren't the best I'd like to get atleast 60 fps on csgo and maybe 50-40 fps on overwatch on medium settings. Here are my computer specs; Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5 GHz
8 GB DDR3 1 TB HDD
Windows 8.1 64-Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 2GB DDR3. It's already maxed out on RAM so buying more ram is out of question. I also tried putting an nvidia 9500gt in my pc, but i ended up getting a black screen.

Solution
300w is risky, so you really do need a bigger PSU. But don't go too cheap as some units can't supply their rated wattage, before buying, check on-line for reviews on the unit.
A GTX 960 should be capable of meeting your requirements, and your CPU would handle it just fine. However, when buy second-hand always be cautious, most people have a genuine reason for selling but there are some who sell because they know there is a fault.

I have a 300w power supply so I do think I might need to get a new 500w power supply from ebay or something as I am on a budget of $150, also I did find an evga gtx geforce 960 for $70 but I don't know if it is any good
