A couple weeks back I was running into computer troubles. I kept receiving bsod's and my Nvidia graphic drivers kept constantly crashing until eventually it wouldn't even boot. I eventually came to the conclusion it was the motherboard doing it, so I sent it in for repairs, and just got it back a few days ago. I put everything back together, only to find out it wouldn't boot and the LED's for the CPU and RAM were going off on the motherboard which it hadn't done before. I replaced the CPU with a spare AMD FX 8350 and only placed 2 of the 4 HyperX Fury RAM sticks in and it booted up. I placed my other AMD FX 8350 in and it wouldn't boot. I then put in the spare and it booted. I put in the other 2 RAM sticks in and it wouldn't boot. Swapped them out again with the other 2 and it booted up. I know it seems clear that the CPU and RAM sticks died on me, but what I don't understand is why? Also no overclocking was done to the CPU.

TL;DR CPU and RAM sticks randomly went out. Don't understand why.

Specs:
ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0 motherboard
AMD FX 8350
HyperX Fury 16GB (4x4)
ASUS GTX 960 4GB
Thermaltake 750w

I'm just gonna request RMA's for everything while it's all still under warranty. I just wanted to find out what happened so I know not to do it again.
