If my motherboard can support a gtx 750ti can it support a 1070?

well im recently planning on getting a 1070 gi and im just wondering will i need to upgrade my mother board or will the graphics card fit ok since the 750ti can thanks for your help :)

no not worth the risk the'' boards bios'' may not be compatible with 900 cards or above if you want to try it and see just buy the card from a place with a generous return policy if it fails to so you not holding the bag on a card that will not work
Any PCIe 16x slot should accept any PCIe 16x card. However, your power supply might not be up to the task, and if you have a particularly slow CPU, you might be better served by splitting your budget and getting a slightly slower GPU and a CPU upgrade.

honestly Im not at my computer atm (im on holiday) but I believe I have 500w power supply and an i5 4460 but once i get back to my pc I will give you my full specs

motherboard: lenovo sharkbay
12gigs of ram
1Tb
nvidia gtx 750ti
cpu- intel core i5 4460
