Earlier today I changed my network's name and password to make it easier for the people who come to my house to login. I had no problem streaming 1080p youtube videos on chrome with my internet connection. As of right now after restarting the main modem, I can no longer even stream 720p videos in most cases. I checked my download speed and it seems to be plenty fast. Fast enough to stream 4k. I am using a cat 6 ethernet cable directly plugged into the modem from my custom desktop. My download speed tends to range around 40-50mbps. I don't really understand why I can't stream 1080p videos off of youtube.
