Hi all, as title, i have a tplink usb adapter atm, the internet is usable but its really unstable. Sometimes i cant even browse the web and im sure that my house dont use anything that eats up all of the bandwidth like that. I wasnt really concerned until couple days ago i realized i can stream on twitch without any ping increase for like a few hours and then later on it became unplayable. Tried again at 2am to make sure i was the only one using the wifi but it didnt work that well either. Now my question is, does changing into an internal wifi card help increasing my performance at all? i know that a cable will make a difference but its not possible in my situation right now. Thanks in advance!

It depends, are other devices more stable on your home WiFi than your computer?

If so then a new WiFi adaptor may help, if not you either need a new router, or to upgrade your connection.
The first cheap thing to try is use a USB extension cable to move the device away from the computer. The metal case blocks a lot of signal.

Internal PCI cards have better antenna but they are located very close to the back of the case and the cables to extend those are not inexpensive.
