AMD Radeon R9 390 running hot

I have an AMD Radeon R9 390 GPU and it runs very hot.
I need two answers, what temps should it reach before I'm concerned? And, what fan speed can I run it (For about 1 hour 30 minutes) I ask this because I hear it can be bad for your fans to run it at a high speed for a long time.

I was playing, The Forest, and my temperature went to 78C before I turned "User Define" mode on (Its set to the default setting). Should I be worried about that, or not? The fan speed was running at around 66%, so is that bad.
Should I download any software to help me? (I have SpeedFan and MSI Afterburner).
Thanks in advanced.

Solution
The 390 and 390X are safe to 95c, and then they begin to throttle. 78c under load is nothing to be concerned about.

As for the fan speed, I'd say the main concern would be noise, but I don't think under 70% would shorten the fan life by much.

If the 78c is higher than you were running, I'd suggest cleaning out the heatsink and fan with a can of compressed air or air compressor. Never use a vacuum! It's also advisable to do this outside because if the card is really dusty, it will create a cloud of dust and you don't want that floating around the house.

Solution
Agree with above. But to add

People really underestimate the importance of case cooling and flow. If you have a non blower card, all the heat gets dumped to the case internally. You must have a very clean case with at least 2x intake and 2x exhaust fans. 78c is actually fine and I see similar on witcher 3 after a couple of hours

So check your case cooling setup and airflow.

I have 3 intake and 3 exhaust fans on the case, and do you have an AMD Radeon R9 390 Series with the driver version being, Crimson 16.3.2? (I ask to see if you have the same as me and I just need to update or something). Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the advice, but what do you mean when you say, "If 78c is higher than you were running" (Sorry if this is a dumb question)

I meant that when you got the card and all this time since it has been running, say, 66c under load, then it is likely dust build up and/or possibly needing the thermal paste replaced. If it has always been running at around 78c, then it is probably an airflow issue, as others mentioned.

It has (To what I remember) stayed the same since I've got it.
Thanks for the answer!

Thanks for the advice! But, what temps should it reach before I it's bad?
