MSI GTX 1070 Seems Too Large for my chassis?

Hello, I am building a new computer and I decided to go with the MSI GTX 1070. However, when I got to the installation part, it seems like the metal slab on the side of the graphics card is stopping me from completely connecting it into the PCI port, both at the top and the bottom. The top is hitting the end of the chassis's port tray, which I don't think can be removed completely, only partially, and the bottom seems to be hitting the bottom of the chassis as well, stopping the PCI connection just short.

It seems like my chassis has no way of removing the back ports (at least not without a hammer or a blowtorch) and it seems like that slab on the GPU is supposed to go on the outside, but there is no way of doing this as far as I can see.

My chassis is the Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3, graphics card is the MSI Frozr VI GTX 1070, and my motherboard is the MSI Z170A.

I'm pretty confused here. Usually there would be a way to slip it right in, but it seems like there's no way unless I remove one of those brackets on the back of the chassis somehow.
