I'm having problems running GTA V, before I upgraded (I think I actually downgraded instead) my Hard Drive I was getting 60 FPS no problem on every Very High (Including shadows). I changed my Hard Drive because my old one died on me it was a Toshiba hard drive and it had 7200 RPM I think, I can't remember specifically which one it was, sadly. Now I get around 50 FPS and it drops down to 30 randomly especially when I'm not in the city (which surprises me because you would think that the place with a ton of buildings would be more demanding) and my shadows are on High along with a lot of other settings. My graphics card is a Sapphire R9 290 and my CPU is a i7 5820k my motherboard is a ASUS X99-Pro and the hard drive that I upgraded (or downgraded) to is a WD Blue hard drive with 5400 RPM. My question is do you think that my hard drive is effecting my FPS because I was told that hard drives don't matter too much when it comes to performance but I'm starting to think that was actually false, this is where I start ranting about how bad the hard drive is. "also if you're thinking about getting a WD hard drive I have to say I wouldn't because I so far absolutely hate this thing it makes a lot of noise it's louder then all of the fans in my computer maybe it's just a problem with the hard drive that I specifically got or maybe not seeing how I got a WD black first but I thought it was broken by the noises it was making so I sent it back and I got this one and it was making the same noise which my previous one didn't make any noise at all which is how it's supposed to be I think."
