New Motherboard, Ram, CPU

I will be upgrading my M52BC_M32BC motherboard, FX 8310 and single 8gb ram stick that came with my OEM. I have already upgraded my GPU and PSU, its all in a new case to. What i need to know is what would be a good Motherboard+CPU combo for my R9 390. I also need at least 16gb of ram. Id like it around 250-350 no preferance on cpu, but i would like a MSI motherboard, my R9 390 is the MSI variant.

its not overclockable but why should you need an overclockable cpu? especially with your budget this is the best thing to get.

and no it wont bottleneck, hence it wouldnt bottleneck a gtx 1080.

That shouldn't bottleneck, the cpu is not overclockable but neither is the mobo. You could get the k version of the processor for not a lot more and a slightly higher base speed.

I like to have a bit of room to expand. I can overclock with the motherboard correct? See my cpu and mobo limit my current PC. EDIT cant find the 6500k is it the 6600k

the 6500k doesn't exist and no you cannot overclock with this motherboard, and you would also need an aftermarket cooler.

Backup then sysprep, sysprep is not intended for this purpose so a backup would be best, assume it won't work and take necessary precautions.

I think that 150$ mobo with that 220$ cpu with a 40$ fan with 16 gigs 60$ is around 470$??
