Hello, I've recently plugged a 2.1 A powerbank into the USB socket, the screens turned off, and the computer went on full fan power. I instantly tried to turn it off but it wouldn't respond to the turn off button, so i went down and unplugged the power cable in a panic ( didn't push the off switch on the PSU).
the PC is currently completely blacked out, could this have damaged not only my PSU, but also my motherboard ? and what possible other components?
Thanks

Unlikely, it's probably just a case of power overdraw on USB ports or outright short. Most of the times only USB ports go dead without affecting anything else.
