Hi everyone. Few weeks ago I made a post here about temperatures.
So far my gtx 960 max temp was 72c in games, but its mostly around 65-70c. On idle it is 45c.
My i5 4460 is 40c on idle nad 60c in games. It is extremely hot in my room. I would like to cool down my cpu a bit, so I want to know is this cpu cooler ok, will it fit and is it good? I heard a lot about it, but it doesn't kill to check once more.
also this is my case - http://hr.ms-start.com/proizvodi/ku%C4%87ista_midi-tower/ms-phoenix-2-kuciste
Dimensions are 418 x 198 x 418 mm and cpu fan/cooler max size would be 162mm

Solution
Yes, CPU coolers do more the 3-4 degrees...vs a stock cooler, vs another like cooler it may be different. The 212 EVO would be fine as would the H7 from Cryorig

Yes, the 212 EVO is ok and it does fit in your case. You are probably running the stock cooler now so your temps should fall by 1 or 2 degrees. If you want more cooler than that I assume water cooling is the solution. But the 212 will help.

Most powerful air coolers, even Noctuas, help by cooling the system down by, at best, 3 degrees. It depends, besides the cooler, on your case, your airflow setup, the environment in which the PC seats in. All that may help to cool down less or more.
