So, I've never upgraded a PC before (have a friend helping however) and want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, which is why I decided to post here. I use my computer for a lot of low-mid graphics gaming.

My friend has given me an AMD Radeon HD 6950 and I see that it has a very high wattage, more than my current desktop PSU could support. My current PSU is a 300w and this new GPU is 200w on its own.

Here is my current desktop. (None of the parts have been changed)

Here is the new PSU I am looking at getting.

My current PSU dimensions are 5.8" W X 3.5" H X 5.5' L and the dimensions for this Corsair are 5.9" W X 3.4' H X 5.5' L so it should hopefully be almost a perfect fit.

Do you have any thoughts, concerns or recommendations on this? Will a new 600w PSU be enough for the 6950 GPU? I can't afford much so that's why the Corsair is so appealing to me.

I would get this.

And it's enough power.
