Hey,
My pc wont turn on fully. when i press the power button, the led is lit, then the MSI logo comes up, but Then the screen goes black......

Then i tried to press and hold the power button it fully shuts down and reboot again..

Then everything becomes normal...

But this happened for a couple of days. and i dont want to repeat this process...

PLEASE HELP ! Thank you advance!

MSI X99A RAIDER ATX
INTEL I7-5820K 3.3 GHZ
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB GDDR5
16 GB OF RAM
WINDOWS 8.1 64-BIT

well what psu would you recommend for my build?

The specs call for a minimum 500 watts system power. - http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-970/specifications

Pick a 650 watts or higher PSU from Tier 1 or Tier 2 from this guide list - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

You will get by with an XFX 550 watts PSU, but my personal choice would be 650 watts or higher.

The PSU is the heart of the system and provides power to all components. A bad or sub-standard PSU will damage other components in the computer. This should answer your question.

Microsoft is trying to get away from Win 8 and Win 8.1 because of vulnerabilities. That's one reason why they offered the free upgrade to Win 10.

I don't know whether your issues are related to Win 8.1..

so i unplug the pins and re plug them. it turn out one of the pin werent plugged in correctly. Everything's good now.
