So, I have ordered my new gpu, finally. I have one concern though for when I go to install... In what order do I install the new drivers and then uninstall the old ones?

Do I uninstall the old drivers BEFORE the installation or AFTER?

Do I install the new drivers BEFORE or AFTER installation?

Does this even matter?

I'm not too much of a PC noob, just got confused as I've only ever insalled gpu once.

Solution
Uninstall old drivers before installation. Shut down, take out the old card. Put the new card in, connect the necessary power cables and make sure the monitor connects to the graphic card. Start up the system, install drivers.
Whether you download the drivers before or after installation of your new gpu does not matter.

once you install your gpu it will be at minimum setting, and will probably prompt you to install the latest drivers. It would be a good idea to check out the maker's website for the support section of the card, and download the PDF manual. I think you can install them in either order but Id do it after that way you can search for the drivers from teh card utility and make sure you get the right ones
