Hi,
I currently have a Nvidia Quadro K420 (1024 MB) GPU in my Dell T1700 motherboard (i7-4790) 3.60 GHz. I am running 2 monitor via the display ports. 1 monitor is connected to the GPU and the other to the mother board.

I was thinking about upgrading to a better GPU with 2 hdmi or display port outputs.

Any suggestions for a GPU with those outputs that will work with my mother board?

Thanks!

Yea, I was not looking to go to crazy since I will likely build a much better computer in the next 6 months.

Do you think I should just keep what I have in that case? Also should I just plug both monitors into the motherboard or using 1 on the GPU and 1 on the motherboard is fine?

gtx 950 would be fine , and no you wouldn't have any issues swapping it out but get a good pwoersupply like this one.

Hi so I got the PSU and I am not sure what cables I should hook up to the mother board. The old one had an 8 pin and 4 pin attached. I dont what to attach something wrong and burn it up

Okay so the 4 pin is connected to the top left, the 6 pin PCI is in the gtx.

However on the dell motherboard TI1700 there is no 24 pin only an 8 pin. Do in need to buy a converter for that?

Also the Sata power is attached to the mother board currently, should I change that?

Yeah with the dell motherboard both cables are currently connected to the motherboad. Should I leave it like that or directly connect the power from the PSU?

Thanks!
