Not recognizing M.2, not showing up anywhere

I'm running a X99 Gigabyte Ultra Gaming with a 5820k, using a Samsung EVO 250GB M.2.

My SSD is coming from my Z170 build, so I know it works.

I know you have to enable M.2 but I cannot find it in the gigabyte BIOS. Is there a simple option to turn on like the ASUS BIOS?

Solution
From board's specs:
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 PCIe x4/x2 SSD support)

While the Samsung one is "SATA 6Gb/s Interface, compatible with SATA 3Gb/s & SATA 1.5Gb/s interface"

So, you need a PCIe interface m.2 drive.

Yeah, there's only 1 slot for it. For my ASUS BIOS, there was an option on the on board devices to turn on M.2. I'd assume Gigabyte would have something similar, but I can't find anything that's relatable.

I've looked everywhere for an M.2 option, can't find anything. The BIOS tab is so bare compared to others I've dealt with, and there's no advanced option anywhere.

I've tried changing the Storage Boot Option Control to UEFI only and legacy only, those are the only options. Neither work.

This is my 2nd mobo, had to RMA the first one due to a whining capacitor. I have my other one still, haven't shipped it off yet. I guess I could try to install that one and see if the M.2 slot works there to possibly rule out a dead slot.
