3 pin water pump connector on my corsair h75

So the fans are 4 pin and I have those all connected to my fan hub but my question is the water pump 3 pin cable what should I do with it. Should I just plug it into my mother board water pump 4 pin fan header or get a 4 pin adapter and plug it into the motherboard. If I'm correct 4 pin allows you to control speeds? But then again it's the water pump plug so i dont know I need help

Electrically, there shouldn't be any problems doing it, the fourth pin on the fan cable is used purely for PWM control and is not needed in order for the fan to run. So you can plug the 4-pin fan connector onto the 3-pin motherboard fan header, leaving the fourth pin not connected to anything.
