Heres the situation, my computer is not powering on the power seems to come through the system for a second only. My psu works, my mobo is brand new and standoffs are correctly installed, my cpu may be dead (not sure), my ram is fine, no graphics card is in the computer, and only the CPU fan is plugged. All cables have been checked. I have no idea what it could be!

this is no good, you need a speaker directly connected to the mobo. it usually comes with a small little speaker you plug in or its already installed. the sound wont travel out of the green port of the mobo

It's weird cause I have done this with the speaker and no sound tried front and IO aux jack. I also tried with just 1 stick and same problem. Also to clarify I meant no speakers, just a monitor..

So I went through the tread and made sure of all the steps. I plugged in a speaker and I'm getting no beeps. Also my mobo uses the LED debug and that's not even working.

Finally received my bios speaker and plugged it into my mobo.what ever was plugged into my speakers connector before was causing my entire computer to never turn on. This cabling ruins from my cases top (haf 932) into my mobo.the cable is labeled as 1394.I have no idea what it is.

We'll the speaker didn't need to my computer ran for a good 5 minutes then I shut it down. Going to try again tomorrow after work to make sure everything is working properly. I can't believe it was just the firewire
