Hello mates,

I am going to buy my new PC tommorow this is the final configuration I locked. If any changes please suggest mates. I play occasionally games my main priority to use rip music and Photoshop, basic office works. Internet and download movies. I keep my PC at least 18 hrs on.

Note: If I post in wrong section means excuse has a first mistake.

First one:

Intel Core i5 6500
Gigabyte B150M-D3H
Cooler Master Hyper 103 CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Antec GX300 Cabinet
Antec VP550P
Dell S2216H 22" LED IPS
APC 600VA UPS
Logitech MK200

Second one:

Intel Core i5 6500
Gigabyte Z170-D3H
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400Mhz
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Kingston 120gb SSD
Corsair SPEC-01
Dell S2216H 22" LED IPS
Logitech MK200
Antec VP550P

Solution
Get the Z170 if you like,. but some of its features are wasted with the i3 6100 (OC'ing etc).
There is no GPU in that build so you rule out gaming at any reasonable quality
You only need about 400W for that build, bu the 620W is a good PSU and will give you LOTS of expansion room
A mixture. The second has an ssd (GOOD) but uses a z170 board with a non-k CPU (waste).

For general office, Photoshop and browsing they are both a bit overkil. And if you do plan on some gaming you are relying on the igpu - dropping the cpu to a i3 would allow something like a rx460 gpu maybe.

Just my thoughts. If you post budget someone will put a parts list togethe!

Thank you for the reply.

I would agree on the cpu my friend suggested me to go with i3 high generation. I would like to play games but not a regular gamer.

I am from India... My budget is around 55k its like 815 USD. Please suggest me a good configuration in this budget.

I would say:

i3 6100, DDR4 8gb, 240gb SSD, RX460. That will allow for photoshop, normal desktop work and light 1080p lowish gaming no problem. Itll feel quick cos of the SDD and the i3 is no slouch. The 460 is a good price and performs OK for whatever you might do.

Z170 I am interested and which GPU would be good in budget to use in this board?

Z170 does basically nothing for the i3. It's only needed for an i5 6600K or i7 6700K. Otherwise it's the same as a B150 or H170 board, just more expensive.

Your config looks decent. You could go with a smaller power supply safely, but as-is it'll do.
