Cooler Master pre-packaged TP any good?

When I fitted my hyper 103 to my i3-4170 I used the pre-included thermal paste in a pea fashion.

Temps aren't worrying at all, I'm just wondering if the thermal paste is any good at all?

Most pastes that are included with a cooler are decent enough. They aren't the best, but it's certainly better than using nothing.

In most cases, the difference between an OK TIM and a good TIM is only a couple of degrees at most. There are the very expensive TIM's that buck this trend by being like 5°C better, but you have to spend a lot more for these.
