i recently bought new PC and everything was fine for a while. After a week or so, my PC started freezing at random interval, it could be 5 minut or 30. What I am suspecting is that my SSD (plextor m6s 256gb) is ending his life, because I removed it from PC and I switched to HDD for a while and everything worked perfectly,. While I was still working on SSD, i did complete format, I didn't install any drivers but that didn't helped, system still crashed after few minutes. I also tried to check for bad sectors but I couldn't finish the test because system would freeze. I have the SMART logs though and i wonder if they can tell if something bad happens to the SSD. Unfortunately I don't know how to interpret SMART result, so i hope someone can help me with this. i would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hey there, eaceace.

The SMART results you've posted don't indicate any errors whatsoever. However this does not always mean that the drive is in a good condition since it can't be 100% accurate. You've mentioned that you've tried an HDD instead of the SSD and everything was working fine, did you try that HDD with the same SATA port and cables you usually use for the SSD? Did you have a secondary storage drive connected to the computer when you started having those problems?

Basically what you could do is download a 3rd party tool just to double-check the SSD's results: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/tp/tophddiag.htm. You should also check if there are available SSD firmware updates for that drive model...

Please let me know how everything goes.
